The Employee Benefits Institute is a non-profit organization with a rich history of more than three decades of providing continuing education, resources and support for the employee benefits community. The Board of Directors consists of leaders in our industry from three distinct “colleges” – the Legal College, the Consultant College and the Plan Sponsor College.
EBI sponsors workshops and on-line webinars throughout the year as well as an annual conference each spring that draws hundreds of attendees from a 7-state region with nationally-recognized speakers and experts to update our audience about timely employee benefits issues (both healthcare issues as well as retirement/pension issues).
The continuing education provided through these various formats includes CPE for the accountants, HRCI for the human resource and benefits professionals, insurance CE for insurance brokers, continuing CFP© education for the Certified Financial Planners©, and continuing legal education (CLE) offered in collaboration with the University of Missouri-Kansas City School of Law Continuing Education.
